Strong and solid #logcabins when carefully notched together, they become sturdy and reliable and will stand for generations.. Especially when professionally chinked and coated and with routine maintenance 😉

We took a short break from a long term project in Eastern-Oregon and headed South-East to a client of over twenty years, there large cabin located in Colorado. The logs were refreshed for the holidays with PPG ProLuxeâ„¢ clear satin water-based polyurethane wood coatings. #longtermclients

I started to use electronic coating thickness gauges in the late 90's - they were pretty accurate, but bulky and cumbersome. I have had this little nugget since the early 2000's It never lets me down, wipes off easy and just slides into any pocket with ease.
