If POTUS can defy SCOTUS, I want my rights back.

They are afraid of diversity, but not of a dictatorship.

Women had to die because SCOTUS stripped away the reproductive health care. So POTUS needs to comply too.

If my GenX friends want a hit of nostalgia, Monica Lewinsky's conversation with Tony Hawk on her podcast are serving up a lot of calm.

I’m about to board my flight to El Salvador, where I hope to meet with senior government officials to discuss the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. I also hope to see Kilmar and check on his condition — and remind him that we won’t stop fighting until he’s home.

Two weeks. And that's just discovery. Look, if this entire country falls apart, whatever justice system comes out of it has to work faster than this.

After all that's happened this week, the Indivisible event near us on the 19th is a picnic in a parking lot. There are no identifiable protests or gatherings other than that in my area of SEPA. That's just insane to me. I can't be the only one lost and outraged. Has everyone just given up?

Just renewed my vehicle registration for two years and WOW did that feel presumptuous.

Downriver won two first-place awards (coming of age fiction and dystopian fiction) in the Firebird Book Awards. On top of being well-reviewed by Midwest, The Historical Fiction Company, and Publishers Weekly.

These are your fellow American citizens laughing at the idea of sending American-born citizens - your own childhood classmates and friends - to prison camps in El Salvador.

republicans are disappearing people under the guise of fighting antisemitism and can’t even pretend to give a fuck when a jewish governor’s house gets firebombed on passover

“what would you have done?” is no longer a hypothetical thought exercise. if you’re not doing anything, there’s your answer.

We live in the most ridiculous timeline.

I fear that this Maryland man is dead, that they have no intention of returning his body to his devastated family, and that there's no recourse for justice because SCOTUS has declared them all immune from any consequences. And what they did to this man they can do to any of us.

Them: "I hate AI." Also them: "Look at this goofy AI started kit pic of me with my 'I Hate AI' protest sign."

The "Hate Has A Mandate" crowd hasn't gotten the message that they don't need to lie and twist facts and pretend that reality isn't real anymore. When they pull this crap, we need to remind them that they should be cheering their accomplishments.

Book fest. It's therapy for people who read.

The Skippack Book Fest made it into MontCo today! We're so excited to see readers in the sunshine on Sunday. C'mon #Pennsylvania. You know you need a sunny day with some books. montco.today/2025/04/skip...

🌂The Skippack Book Fest is moving to its rain date. We'll see you on Sunday, April 13 - in historic downtown Skippack, across from the iconic trolley, from 11am to 4pm!

It's cover reveal day for the last book in my Poison River duology. Look at the gorgeous art @shellycampbellfineart made! Upstream comes out on June 3!

I really need sunshine on Saturday, universe. At least... not rain. I'd appreciate Not Rain. Thanks.

I needed to hear this. Maybe you do too. “Fear has a way of being contagious… courage is also contagious.” — Kamala Harris Man, I miss her.

So far today, I've found, reported, and fixed four glitches in the software of an email campaign company I won't do business with because I found and reported four glitches that shouldn't have existed on a live site people pay money for. I'm tired of working for free while the economy goes up in 🔥.

I'm finding it hard to express how sad this all is.

Hey authors! I'm now seven hours into finding a replacement for MailChimp, and I still can't find an email provider that functions. What are you all using? Someone halp?

Listening to Monica Lewinsky tell Molly Ringwald how very hard it was to do anything after everyone telling her she's stupid for so long HITS. Her podcast is marvelous. Highly recommend listening to Reclaiming.

I'm not crying... nope. Sobbing.

Every corner of my social media world has become Cory Booker All The Time, and I'm really enjoying the drum beat of hope.

ARC signups are still open for Upstream. They'll be delivered in early May along with a free Kindle copy of Downriver (book 1). If "teenage girl teams up with suffragists, a literary society, and a love interest to battle an evil coal-boss" sounds interesting, there's a link to the sign-up form ⤵️!

If they get away with it, a precedent of disappearing citizens and protected persons is set. Do not give an inch.
