The attacks on DEI are a pretext for a much more radical agenda of reversing the gains of the civil rights movement, an objective the Trump administration is pursuing with zeal. A Great Resegregation. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

DOGE’s expenses have risen above 40 million, with weekly costs now exceeding 10 million. We will release an updated DOGE staff list soon.

This is the most wretched campaign of deliberate, explicit persecution the United States has perpetrated against a minority group in decades. Many of the most important people in politics and journalism are busying themselves trying to figure out how little to say or do about it.

“Operation Whirlwind” What’s Happening Now? In 2025, Operation Whirlwind was launched under Interim U.S. Attorney Ed Martin to investigate alleged threats against employees of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Florida has 2 special elections coming up on April 1st that could tilt control of Congress back to Democrats, & stop Trump's Project 2025 agenda in its tracks. Please contribute to both @Gayforcongress.bsky.social & @joshweil.bsky.social’s campaigns today. This is about more than Florida! #DCFL

I truly think people don’t realize how many universities and colleges — especially public ones — may shut down if restrictions on and withholding of federal funding persists for even one presidency We are facing the demolition of American higher education

They plan to dismantle our democracy at every level.

Odd how the turns have tabled… Trump reversed course and admitted that Russia did, in fact, invade Ukraine. International news sources and independent media have stepped up to keep Americans informed.

Information was shared illegally. A career employee at the Social Security Administration provided unauthorized access to data to Elon Musk’s staffers. This employee, Leland Dudek, a data analyst, was recently promoted to acting commissioner by Trump.

“parents in Kenya whose children are believed to have tuberculosis cannot get them tested. There is no clean drinking water in camps in Nigeria or Bangladesh for people who fled civil conflict. A therapeutic food program cannot treat acutely malnourished children in South Sudan.”

Damn, not even the mail is safe.

“It’s what President Trump has asked for." Republicans are gearing up to adopt a budget that would statutorily increase the debt. But they say that’s fine as long as it’s for tax cuts.

More of this energy everywhere please!

americans are ahead of the politicians "Americans disapprove by a 2-to-1 margin of Musk shutting down federal agencies that he decides are unnecessary, and most (63 percent) are concerned that his team is gaining access to sensitive personal data of individuals"

Republicans are going along with stuff AMericans hate. 2026 will hold them accountable. ("More than 8 in 10 oppose the pardons for those who were convicted of violent crimes, and 55 percent oppose the pardons for those convicted of nonviolent crimes")

Three updates: 1. The Justice Department has deleted a database tracking federal police misconduct. The database was first proposed in 2020 following the police killing of George Floyd.

We applaud CalPERS' push to defend national climate disclosures. As oil companies continue to pollute our atmosphere, it's all the more important to expose the risk of investments in fossil fuels. California must implement SB 253 - a state law that does just that. www.pionline.com/esg/calpers-...

1/ On Tuesday, President Trump signed an Executive Order (EO) that seeks to grant himself more power over federal agencies’ budgets and decision-making. This EO is alarming and threatens independent science in the federal government

Greg Abbott calls his voucher scam “school choice.” But we already have school choice—neighborhood schools, charters, magnets, academies & more. Vouchers don’t give us choice. Vouchers give our tax dollars to unaccountable private schools that can discriminate against our kids.

Women, yes, project 2025 is happening and they are coming for your body and your rights.

In the fight for women's reproductive rights, men can protest, vote, and... get a vasectomy?
