Steve Martin says Maya & Martin Short now have Covid. Without masks and PCR tests, I feared #SNL50 (concert/show/parties) could be an inevitable supers preader. Loved Mulaney's musical & Eddie/Black Jeopardy, but was furious that they thought willfully endangering everyone's health was hilarious.

His emphasis on the freedom to "joke" is telling. Because hearing sexism couched in humor leads boys men to adopt more sexist views and makes both men and women less likely to speak up and challenge others' sexist acts.

Years ago I was harassed+stalked by a scary stranger (began online, escalated to phone, snail mail) and law enforcement I couldn't get a restraining order bec. he "hadn't done anything physical." The "yet" was implied. Trump has long behaved as a violent spouse abusing the nation; Musk, now, too.
