Experimenting with unit selection at the start. Idea is to select unit pool to recruit from during the run - allowing to go for more breadth or more consistency. Not 100% certain how exactly this should work yet, I just know I want units to be unlocked progressively. #indiedev #gamedev

In Save the Forest, your units earn promotions which allows them to gain new abilities and upgrade existing ones. The available upgrades are restricted by their unit class, but who knows what can happen deep in the forest? #indiedev #gamedev #screenshotsaturday #turnbased

So πŸ˜‚ this unit is one of my favourites so far. This is the Mason, and masons specialty is building walls in the middle of the battlefield. You can upgrade the walls to either become spikier ( = more damage to enemies when pushed into them) or just be ballistas that shoot instead #gamedev #indiedev
