Captain James T. Kirk, who was an outlier in 60s TV stoic male heroes. He was empathetic and compassionate. Self-aware of his own emotional states. Didn’t shy away from showing emotions or affection, especially to his male companions. And he always helped anyone in need.

The current US president has now confirmed that, once removed, the Palestinians would have 'no right' to return. He talked about it in terms of a real estate development (his actual words). This is undoubtedly a major element of all of this - his son in law was discussing this a year ago. (1)

I thought the half time show was good, I'm not a huge Kendrick fan but it was a well put together, performed and choreographed show. The best thing about it is the right wing outrage it inspired. It's the small victories that keep us going.
