Propagated some nasturtium seeds a couple of weeks ago and have potted on the seedlings this afternoon

Shivelights and shadowtackle Words created by the poet Gerard Manley Hopkins to describe lances or shafts of sunlight piercing or filtering through foliage and the canopy of a wood

I just opened a new bottle of hot sauce which exploded over my hand and I think this is what critics call foreshadowing

Fatherf*cker 🤔

Surely I know someone for whom this would be a dream job:

It really is a morally inverted world - Ben Gvir is a human rights abuser, a convicted supporter of terrorism and a would-be genocidaire. Yet he’s platformed and the young people protesting his presence are sanctioned

Just reading a review of my friend Tiffany Watt Smith's book in The Guardian and was stunned by the adverts along the side of the page, from Israel's Foreign Affairs Ministry. Click and it goes to a video titled 'Coexistence instead of conflict', difficult when you are bombing children in tents.

Evergreen

Maybe he was reading an early draft of Godot

Israeli forces have now dropped more explosives in Gaza than fell on London, Dresden, and Hamburg during the Second World War. The region’s hospitals have not been spared; most are no longer functional. Clayton Dalton writes about the devastation.

I’m usually a fan but I don’t think this is one of Hamish Fulton’s best works.

We're opening a queer-led art space + café in Canterbury! A home for bold queer art (local + beyond), warm brews, and radical joy. Help us bring it to life 💥 🌈 Support the crowdfund: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/pup-and-ti... #PupAndTiger #QueerArt #SupportQueerSpaces #Canterbury

This is my new project and feels very necessary in the current world situation, so please get behind and help me with a donation if you can and reshare?

Very nice to see a lot of IHF cards and books at Cassius and Co. this afternoon, and some other nice first editions — Eliot, Whitman — too.

No you’re dancing to this in the kitchen

Watched 'Warfare' the other night and was reminded of Moten and Harney's quoting of Michael Parenti, of how 'the settler is portrayed as surrounded by "natives," inverting, in Parenti's view, the role of aggressor so that colonialism is made to look like self-defense.'

So so so so excited about this book: www.dukeupress.edu/the-visual-a... @dukepress.bsky.social

"The soldiers reloaded their magazines and kept shooting even after it was clear that no return fire was coming from the other side – and despite the cries of the aid workers who tried to identify themselves." From Haaretz. archive.ph/4vam4

Also: fuck Keir Starmer and all the other transphobes in British public life who are intent of making life even more difficult for trans people, and cis women and men, too.

Because obviously Labour also do not see cleaners -- some of the most vulnerable, outsourced, disrespected & also highly organised workers in our country -- as people who have genders or identities at all.

Cameron and May were more socially progressive than Labour is now. I despise Starmer.

Thanks for the poster, Bob
