I’m happy with the point earned in SJ. However Rusnaks play tonight was too passive and a bit too solo minded. He has to be faster about finding and feeding the squad. I’d like it if he could put the team on his back a bit more. He saved our butts but that’s my overly critical shout.

One more positive spin on tonight’s match. Musovski scored in a big game. If he can get one vs Cruz Azul he can get a few in MLS league play. Lessons learned in this tournament and now MORE work is to be done.

I felt like the Cruz Azul match was a great display of what the team is capable of. That was an entertaining and hard fought match. Every bit of coverage leading up to it made it that much more enjoyable. This team has the potential to do some great stuff once they sync up just a little more.
