Despelote and Many Nights a Whisper are two very good short indies that came out this past week.

Old Skies is out today, and I had a good time with it. Always great to see a new Wadjet Eye game.

half the posts since i woke up being people disliking Blue Prince has driven me to write a steam review, lol

My colleague reviewed Blue Prince and gave it 5 stars. I've played it too and I agree with him - it is an incredible game, a masterpiece, and I don't think anything will top it for me this year.

A year ago today, as part of the @futuregamesshow.bsky.social Spring Showcase, we announced Blue Prince to the world. Now only 20 days remain until the doors to Mount Holly open permanently when our game launches on Steam, PS5 & PS+ Game Catalog, Xbox Series X|S, Windows & Game Pass.

"How Verity develops as a character across several playthroughs is the reason why Inkle's latest can stand out on its own." 4* from @digitalspy.com !

Inkle's new game Expelled! is out today. It's really good and better than Overboard!, which I also liked.

Lots of really good stuff in Steam Next Fest. Can't wait to play more of Moves of the Diamond Hand, in particular.

I really enjoyed Keep Driving, an indie road-trip RPG that was easy to immerse myself in.

Spent the past few weeks playing and completing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth on PC. Mixed feelings about the game itself (I'm not a fan of its 'more is more' approach), but the PC port is a lot better than Remake's. No mouse cursor support for menus is an oversight, though.

Digital Spy names UFO 50 game of the year 😍 www.digitalspy.com/tech/g630444...

Here's Digital Spy's GOTY list...

I'm not usually into first-person shooters, but I Am Your Beast has a really satisfying fast-paced gameplay loop. I had a lot of fun with it.

Completely forgot I went through a Hitman: World of Assassination phase in January. The only games above it in my Steam Replay for this year were UFO 50 and three Atlus RPGs...

Getting into Infinity Nikki...

I reviewed UFO 50. It's going to be my personal GOTY.

Arctic Eggs is so weird yet also so good.

Mouthwashing is excellent. Unsettling and impactful. Completed the game in one afternoon, yet I'm still thinking about it hours later.

Finished Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Overall, a bit disappointing, but the character creator is great.

Not sure how much I'll use Bluesky really as I'm not a social media person, but I wanted to take a look.
