It's bad for us, but it's great for then. They have enough resources to be able to weather the ensuing economic collapse without any problem, AND to swoop in and buy up a ton of land and buildings and companies, and when the dust settles they'll control an even larger share of everything.

When they rail against "DEI", what they're really upset about is civil rights. It's not that they want people to be hired irrespective of their race or other demographics. It's that they want people to be NOT hired, on the basis of those categories.
