Forty years ago today, Studio Ghibli was founded. One of the most beloved and iconic animation studios in the world, this Japanese studio has touched the hearts of audiences with its dazzling visuals, peaceful stories, and beautifully defined characters. Their films are divine.

One scene that I love in How to Train Your Dragon is when Hiccup wakes up and realizes Toothless is in his house. The moment was actually Steven Spielberg's idea and I'm glad he suggested it cause it helped enforce the bond, especially when Hiccup realizes he lost his foot.

Pixar has officially announced their next film for 2027. The film is titled Gatto which will be directed by Luca director Enrico Casarsoa. The film will be about a cat in Venice who is indebted into a mob and will also have a painting style of animation. I'm already hyped!

Netflix has released two new stills of The Twits which comes out later this year. I'm curious about this one given its based on a Roald Dahl book and not a particularly long one so I'm interested to see how they'll handle the story of this one.

Netflix just dropped the first trailer for In Your Dreams and revealed the film will be released on November 14th. Even though some of the jokes in this didn't make me laugh, I do admire some of the crazy visuals. Hopefully, the full film will be better than this trailer.

Pixar has announced that Peter Sohn, the director of Elemental, will be officially directing Incredibles 3 while Brad Bird will only write the script. I'm pretty surprised but this, but I did adore Elemental so I like this. Can't wait to see what Sohn does with this!
