Look at the same way as like Drarry slashfic (also all the Dreamling fics on Ao3) The author(s) are homophobic/transphobic douchebags who probably Hate all the people making gay porn of their chars, so go nuts!! Make them suffer!!

ComicFury is totally free with full customization (adding wallpaper, custom buttons etc). Multiple page templates, single page as well as Scroll-view, and a Chaptering system. The least amount of censorship in a webcomic host I know of, Mature/NSFW content allowed as long as it is tagged properly.

You might be interested in the Winds and Storms series. Ghost!Vanyel/ghost!Stefen-lendel have cameos and one of Vanyel's Tayledras descendants is a major character (not the Main, but he gets a lot of screen-time and internal dialogue and is Very Gay)
