"You're surrendering your agency in ways you don't realize." this new opinion video essay about Algorithmic Complacency, by Alec Watson of Technology Connections, is excellent and worth your time

What the hell. I'm in.

Hopefully it was because the majority of the people saw that no vote = a vote for fascism. Unlike in our (US) latest election

Using MC’s three videos of him going through the process of creating an adventure as the starting point for my first adventure with the whole gaming group. I am going to use that adventure to introduce Bedegar and the original Baron, Saxton, and his sons. Wish me luck! #drawsteel

Draw steel is looking great. Played a practice session with my wife, it was just a single fury, going into a random den i made by wiping out flat map tiles. And creating two EV 6 encounters followed by an EV 12 one. The game just showed itself off in that session.

What was that "RPG" that one dude was working on, I think the pitch was: there was only one rule? And it was unreadable and you quickly realized the author was...not well? This was like 20 years ago.

Their latest attempt to bring down Bluesky now involves hordes of polite disagreement AI bots. Quick, while the bots are asleep, who’s got a bots block list?

Can’t wait until bluesky adopts some verification system so we get easily identifiable legit accounts. I’m not saying it only has to be celebrities, politicians, and influencers. But we can start there.

So, will blue Sky support saved searches? I know they have feeds, but i liked the flexibility of old school 3rd party Twitter apps that allowed you to save off your searches.

5 Dresden Files 4 sentinel comics 3 Starfinder - 2e great playtest so far. 2 DC 20 - haven’t had a chance for a full game but this seems great so far 1 Pathfinder 2e

To #DnD players who have stuck with it because you've spent a lot on it already: WOTC's asking for $200 to upgrade, and future books will cost more. There are many RPGs out there that cost less. (And if you're interested in #pathfinder2e all its rules are free)

Another multi lvl fight going on with my AV game. PCs pushed into pits (that drop to a level level below), one by one teleporting to another level in combat, and last night, barbarian rushing to attack walks over grate, grate falls to lvl below, he falls (fails GAE) grate lands on him #pathfinder2e
