I’m setting up a Go Fund Me page called Arms for Ukraine.

Celebrating Black History #10: Architect Norma Merrick Sklarek was born on April 15, 1928, in Harlem, New York. Sklarek, hailed as the "Rosa Parks of Architecture," literally changed the face of her industry when, in 1954, she became the first African-American woman to become a licensed architect.

Risk Management

Best assist of Mykolenko’s career. Get in!

Celebrating Black History #9: In 2021 Amanda Gorman became the youngest poet to read at a Presidential Inauguration. She read “The Hill We Climb.” “But one thing is certain. If we merge mercy with might, and might with right, then love becomes our legacy and change our children's birthright.”

Roberta Flack and Donnie Hathaway

"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" Statue of Liberty

This is the beginning.

Wait a minute. Governor Hochul met with the President in the Oval Office to discuss congestion pricing. She presented the president with a BOOKLET on the early success of the program. What? Gave him something to read? Are there any pictures in that booklet? She’s more clueless than I thought.

Celebrating Black History #8: Jean-Michel Basquiat used social commentary in his paintings, including attacks on power structures and systems of racism. Basquiat's Untitled depicting a black skull with red and yellow rivulets, sold for $110.5M - one of the most expensive paintings ever purchased.

Capito, Shelley Cassidy, Bill Collins, Susan Cornyn, John Cotton, Tom Daines, Steve Ernst, Joni Graham, Lindsey Hagerty, Bill Hyde-Smith, Cindy Lummis, Cynthia Marshall, Roger McConnell, Mitch Mullin, Markwayne Ricketts, Pete Risch, James Rounds, Mike Sullivan, Dan Tillis, Thom Tuberville, Tommy

Governor Hochul again fails to provide decisive leadership for the citizens of New York. She lacks courage. What is a leader without courage? She refuses to remove Mayor Adams from his post and will instead introduce additional layers of bureaucratic oversight (and cost). Analysis Paralysis.

Nihilism - A doctrine or belief that conditions in the social organization are so bad as to make destruction desirable for its own sake independent of any constructive program or possibility. Merriam-Webster

@andrew-cuomo.bsky.social This should be a song used in your campaign (substitute Andrew Cuomo for Harry Truman): open.spotify.com/track/73NEBk...

@govmurphy.bsky.social maybe if NJ Transit wasn’t such an eyesore, more NJ commuters would embrace public transportation and avoid congestion pricing. Murphy had a choice of getting his own house in order or suck-up to Trump. Sadly, he chose what he thinks is the path of least resistance.

@govmurphy.bsky.social selling out to Trump on congestion pricing. He lit his hair on fire for a $9 toll to enter Manhattan weeks after the tolls on BOTH the GS Parkway and NJ Turnpike were raised. Typical politician redirecting our gaze. I am from the Garden State and I expect more from the Gov.

Based on the performance of Judge Ho in Federal Court today, it looks likely that Adams indictment on corruption will be put on hold. Adams is now governing NYC under the Sword of Damocles. The residents of NYC are also in a perilous predicament. Governor Hochul needs to remove Adams from office.

Celebrating Black History #7: Bessie Blount was 7 when a teacher rapped her knuckles during a classroom assignment because she was writing with her left hand. That pissed her off. Spitefully, she taught herself, and injured WWII vets, to write using teeth and toes. That was just the beginning.

How do you extricate yourself from a seat on a regional jet while hanging upside down without falling on your head?

Lad

Jake O’Brien is settling in nicely at right back. I expected him to be vulnerable to pace but I don’t recall many wingers getting round him.

Governor Hochul: Time for you to demonstrate decisive leadership. Are you up for it? Eric Adam’s must be relieved of his duties as NYC Mayor because he now has conflicts of interest in performing his duties. Show New Yorkers how strong you are.

The Tarkowski goal is even better with the Titanic music #EFC #Football #Everton

“I’ve had a couple of promotions and played for my country but with everything that’s happening right now, leaving this iconic stadium — a special stadium — it will be the biggest one of my career.” James Tarkowski

The School of Science strikes again! COYB

Wait a minute. Trump and NetanYAHOO! are complaining about the released hostages appearing emaciated? How much food and supplies are Israel allowing to enter into Gaza?

Advertisement for a Buick automobile claims it comes with Google built-in compatibility. I am left seeing the word incompatibility.

Last year millions of people gathered to express solidarity with Palestinians and to demand an end to Israel’s deadly invasion. I understand. Now Trump announces a plan to turn all residents of Gaza into refugees so the US can turn Gaza into a resort. No protests over that? I don’t understand.

Celebrating Black History #6: Charity Adams was the first African-American to become an officer in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. She was commanding officer of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion. Adams was the highest-ranking African-American woman in the army at the end of the war.

@roadcheltenham.bsky.social I fancy Fact to File to win a race at this year’s festival - but not the Gold Cup.

Celebrating Black History #5: Lewis Howard Latimer was the son of self-emancipated enslaved people. A self-taught draftsman, he contributed to the invention of the lightbulb and the telephone. Latimer taught English and mechanical drawing to immigrants at the Henry Street Settlement in New York.
