FANTASTIC NEWS FOR GREYHOUNDS! The New Zealand government is to phase out greyhound racing over the next 20 months with a ban in 2026. This allows time for the rehoming of dogs and for workers to find alternative jobs. In 2021 alone, 232 greyhounds died and 900 were injured.
