I wish @bsky.app had a news hour on tv or radio and invited some of the experts and personalities I’ve found on this app. No competition out there except maybe @npr.org on radio and @pbsnews.bsky.social on tv.

This is Zeddie. I adopted her from the APL when she was 10-1/2 years old. She was overweight and suffered from severe anxiety and a shaky leg. But one year later, she is a happy, trim pup with no leg tremor and follows me everywhere. I am in love! #SeniorPupSaturday #AdoptDontShop #APL #SeniorDogs

I’ve been feeling overwhelmed by how to make any impact in this upside-down world we are living in. Tonight I read about @5calls.org, which has an app that makes it really easy to call your senators and reps- with an optional script and phone numbers. Excited to try it out tomorrow.

Went to CDC.gov and saw this chilling banner about modifications being made to the website. Then I searched CDC in the news feed to learn what modifications. Just one example from yesterday: “CDC removes gender, equity references in public health material” Sickening and horrifying.
