Yeah, a lot of this SNL special is self-congratulatory, but Meryl Streep and Kate McKinnon talking about their alien abduction with Meryl saying about her underwear, “The devil wears nada” got me good. In a shock to absolutely no one SNL50 was fun, filled with great bits, and fantastic musical bits. But it was also uneven, some stuff didn’t work, and at least 20% too long. So, you know, SNL 😛 It was more or less a perfect celebration while staying true to form. Wouldn’t want it any other way.
