Facts. I want the boomers here, I want the zoomers here. You have tools to stop them from interacting with you if it tilts you that much. But get them off the MetaX apps.

My kpop demon huntresses take. I liked the start, but was finding it hard to shake the feeling it was a cynical shakedown for manufactured pop. My 15yr old daughter gave it a meh after 20 mins. I will watch the rest in secret sometime. Not sure if they got their target market wrong or bob-on.

I'm in Croatia at the moment. They have the most life affirming bottles of water I've ever seen...

Hey here's someone who gets it

Have just seen this on FB, and made me love Tim Curry even more. From an interview he gave about an ill-fated on-set affair while filming Muppet Treasure Island.

This is Gus. He was caught sitting at the kitchen table while home alone. His motives remain unknown. 14/10 (TT: milolovesromeo)

Unity and Progress. The Amalgamated Portmanteau Bag & Fancy Leather Society. (This was in a box with my granddad's WWI medals, dogtag and regimental cap badge.)

Everything I know about New York came from the Beastie Boys' To The 5 Boroughs

hot take from across the pond... Zohran Mamdani looks like the good guy version of Hanz Gruber.

It's no good. I know it's midsummer, but I've put the heater on in the shed. Go Britain!

The only way to truly make Brexit work... ...is to bury it six feet under and join the EU as full members again. That way Brexit can fulfil its true function as a blip in history that serves as an important cautionary tale.

Have muted a few words for 7 days. Not ignoring the big issues... just turning down the volume to keep my thoughts and intentions clear.

That's 5 rejections for We Are Not The Heroes. That means I get to make a badge when I get a minute... #amWriting #booksky also - free kids' book if anyone has youngsters into funny stuff! www.sinewavemind.com/doomsdayogre

Booked tickets to see Tim Peake in October. Whole fam of 5 as we're all space fans for different reasons. I wanted to "do" space when I studied astrophys but dropped out because of the Tsunami. Gremlin #2 has defied his teachers to study phys gcse despite dyslexia and autism. Space is awesome.

@childrensbooks.bsky.social Welcome to bluesky guys. If you have any kids come in that would enjoy a #Kidlit comedy about a time travelling witch-out-of-water investigating mystical crime with her plucky descendants.. I've written one and it's completely free! sinewavemind.com/doomsdayogre

Figured I had too much us centric stuff in my feed so hooked up the UK feed, intending to harvest some new peeps. Was like stepping back into old, racist, twitter. Have unpinned it. And that is the blessed joy of self curation on bluesky.

One theory suggests the Stock flower was named after London’s old Stocks Market, where it was chiefly sold. The market, named for a pair of stocks once standing there, was demolished in 1737 to make way for the Mansion House. Its Latin name, Matthiola, honours botanist Mattioli.

The finished piece. Oil and acrylic on canvas.

An old sailors lighter from 1913

One of the most underrated characters of the last 20 years.

Looked up St. Swithuns day because if it rains then it rains for 40 days according to folklore (it's July 15 btw). It listed his other miracles as "...miraculously restored some smashed eggs. " Feels like that was put down by a monk on his 800th miracle and out of ideas.

Universal translator in your brain could be a good spinoff from this tech, which is itself is pretty awesome... medicalxpress.com/news/2025-06...

I got to see Brian Wilson perform when I was 10. It was great, made me a life long fan. Always had a soft spot for Wild Honey as one of my favs. RIP. King of harmonies

Describe your favourite movie in the most misleading way possible. Fork lift operator deals with a pest infestation.

My favourite quotation from this story is "It's just very Bristol," and I can't argue with that, because it is. BBC News - Mystery green spots on road leave residents baffled www.bbc.com/news/article...

Got kids that like funny books? Me too. So I wrote them Granny Vesp and The Doomsday Ogre. A time traveling 10th century witch-out-of-water investigates occult thefts with her plucky descendants in modern London. It's free! RT www.sinewavemind.com/doomsdayogre #kidLit #childrensbooks #booksky

This is the most beautiful music I’ve ever heard!! 😍

Now I've made an author site I'm damn well going to post it. Probably a lot. Probably too much. I'm sorry about that. You can have a free #kidlt book with time traveling witches in London if it makes it any easier to stomach... www.sinewavemind.com #booksky #writing

I guess he was gonna need a pretty freckin' big dead cat to throw on the table so people stopped talking about him being buds with Epstein. A dead cat the size of LA it turns out.

I've finally set up my author site. To launch it I wrote something deeply personal, finally putting down a story that has shaped a lot of my life. www.sinewavemind.com/post/a-story... #amWriting #writingCommunity #booksky

Thinking of a hero I knew and admired.

What an extraordinary, beautiful thing. Sometimes the only sensible response to scientific discovery is wonderment and awe.

I don't trust grammerly's comma suggestions. It makes me doubt my whole world view sometimes. #amWriting #writingCommunity

People forget that at the end of every episode, He-Man would tell kids to not be dicks and then punch them in the face so they remembered it.

One of my arguments against the possibility of AI has been their potential immortality removing the human need for short term ism. Unless we teach them a fear of death of course. Just great. www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/artific...

Bought the boy Metal Gear :Revengance on the 360 for his 15th birthday... he's loving it. The game came to our attention, not through its well loved reputation, but from this oft-quoted stupid video.. m.youtube.com/watch?v=3BjY...
