Exciting news - many City Plumbing customers can now access a really top quality umbrella scheme through a large number of our branches. It costs £1950 per job and for that you get some of the best support an installer can get in the industry. www.vitoenergy.co.uk/installers-h...

That feeling when it's sunny, but also cold. Heat pump chugging away powered by the sun with plenty spare for the battery to charge up.

The most consistently annoying thing to me is the reporting of the energy price cap. Most articles never mention the actual unit rates at all and if they do it's always way down. The headline "average bill" number is meaningless at best and quite possibly misleading unless people know what it means.

Hey all my heat pump peeps. Can we get a heat pump roll-call - I'll start. Samsung HTQ 8kW on 1970s semi with basic fabric upgrades only, always warm, super cheap to run. Who's next?

Today is one of those days where I very much notice that I have a heat pump. J: Kids, you're going to need coats K: What, is it cold? J: Yes, it's -2C out there They don't realise it's cold out, because inside the house there's no hint about the frost. Nice even heat all around the house.

First proper post over here in Bluesky. I just want to say: Follow me if you want to hear all about heat pumps and renewable tech. Occasionally some other stuff too.
