The Runnin' Utes had a real chance to build some momentum after back-to-back wins against the Kansas schools. Instead, Utah proved to be its own worst enemy on the road. www.ksl.com/article/5125...

ALSO: The Red Rocks have moved up to No. 3 in the live NQS with a 197.465. UCLA, who Utah competes with at home to closeout the regular season, is now No. 4.

The Red Rocks bounced back big Friday night ... and it resulted in the team's first 198 score of the season, a Big 12 regular-season title, and a manifestation to others why this team has big expectations. www.ksl.com/article/5125...

FINAL: Your Red Rocks are the outright regular season champions of the Big 12. Utah: 198.075 Denver: 197.525 Ashley Glynn: 9.850 Ella Zirbes: 9.900 Zoe Johnson: 9.525 Jaylene Gilstrap: 9.950 Makenna Smith: 9.925 Grace McCallum: 9.975

Grace McCallum. That's it. She good.

Fans boo as she gets a 9.925. They really felt her score should have been more.

Makenna Smith is incredible. That was a phenomenal floor routine and the Huntsman Center crowd is up on its feet.

Can't say I was expecting a 9.950 for Jaylene Gilstrap there, but Utah definitely will take that. That's going to help secure a win, but it's definitely not over.

Zoe Johnson had arguably her best floor routine, but staved off disaster on last tumbling pass. She didn't have a lot of height and narrowly missed falling. Judges give a 9.60/9.45 split

Really good performance from Ella Zirbes on floor. It's still not easy for her to perform on floor, but she continues to fight and does well.

Another solid Ashley Glynn routine. Is there any other kind at this point?

Btw the 49.575 is a season high on beam for the Red Rocks. I'd call that a great bounce back after last week's debacle.

It appears Jaylene Gilstrap has hurt her shoulder on exhibition of beam. She's trying to shake it off but appears to be in pain. Curious to see if she stays in the rotation for floor.

Going into the final rotation, the Red Rocks have grown their lead after a 49.575 on beam. Utah: 148.475 Denver: 148.125 Amelie Morgan: 9.925 Camie Winger: 9.675 Makenna Smith: 9.900 Grace McCallum: 9.975 Avery Neff: 9.900 Elizabeth Gantner: 9.875

Elizabeth Gantner brings it home with another great beam routine for the Red Rocks. Before her, the Red Rocks already had a 49.375 score, so this should be a big improvement.

She gets a 9.90.

Seriously impressive to watch Avery Neff out there, knowing how injured she was a few weeks ago. She continues to amaze with her perseverance.

Another 10.0/9.95 split for McCallum ... and more boos. Feels like the one judge is never satisfied with anything haha

Grace McCallum is so consistent. Another great event for her. It's the year of McCallum.

Makenna Smith resets the momentum with a 9.90 on beam.

Man, one of these judges is brutal. She gets a 9.90/9.65. The one judge changed her start value to a 9.80 for not making a connection?

Really nice beam routine by Camie Winger, with a beautiful triple series that looked flawless. Appears she may have had a small balance check, but great otherwise.

Amelie Morgan back in the leadoff role on beam, and she delivered. That was a great routine.

At the midway point in the meet, the Red Rocks move into first with a narrow lead after a 49.550 on bars Utah: 98.900 Denver: 98.875 Makenna Smith: 9.900 Ashley Glynn: 9.950 Avery Neff: 9.850 Amelie Morgan: 9.875 Ella Zirbes: 9.775 Grace McCallum: 9.975

She gets a 9.975 ... with a smattering of boos from the fans

Grace McCallum with the perfect stick and fans want a 10.0. I don't think she'll get it, but it'll be a high score.

The one judge changes to a 9.85, but the 9.70 stays

Wow, Ella Zirbes just got a 9.90 and a 9.70 from judges. That's quite a bit haha

Fan favorite Avery Neff narrowly misses out on a stick, but has a little hop back on her landing.

A 9.950

Really nice bars routine by Ashley Glynn, and it ends with a stick. She continues to be so consistent on that event.

She gets the 9.90 with my favorite scoring split 9.95/9.85

Makenna Smith with the stick on her bars, which should give a good score.

After the first rotation, the Red Rocks trail Denver, who got a season-high on bars (their best event). Denver: 49.525 Utah 49.350 Ella Zirbes: 9.925 Grace McCallum: 9.875 Jaylene Gilstrap: 9.825 Camie Winger: 9.875 Makenna Smith: 9.850 Ashley Glynn: 9.825

Overall OK vault performance tonight by the Red Rocks. Ella Zirbes started it out with a bang, but a few areas where Utah could have been better. Still, it's a 49.350 to start.

Denver has been really good on bars tonight and has a 9.950 and a 9.90 in their first 4 scores. They're a formidable foe tonight.

Camie Winger with a solid vault. She gets a tiny step to miss the stick, but one of her best.

A 9.925 to start

OK, Ella. She kicks off the meet with a perfect stick on vault.

There's a decent Denver crowd here for the meet. You don't get that a ton, but they're making some noise.

Avery Neff warming up on beam tonight. The expectation is that she will compete on 2 events tonight: Beam and Bars

🎙️PODCAST: Back to talk about a potential College Football Playoff expansion and what it could mean for a team like Utah. I also take a look at a Utah NIL bill and the House settlement case. Give it a listen below or on your favorite podcast platform. www.ksl.com/article/5125...

Horseshit officiating. Calling EVERYTHING, then call nothing in the 4th until a foul on McQueen in which she didn't even touch the Cowgirl until she'd already lost the ball out of bounds. Clear turnover? No. Foul on Utah The Big12 with shit officials? Nooooooooo

41 combined fouls in that game, and they were evenly dispersed between the two teams. Some will look at that as parity in the calls haha I call that a lack of fun and no rhythm for either team.

FINAL Utah 64 | Oklahoma State 68 Utah had a 9-point lead but let it slip away. That one isn't going to feel good for Utah, who really needed that win.

Oklahoma State takes a 4-point lead with 14.6 seconds left and Utah ball. Utah 64 | Oklahoma State 68

Wow ...

Gavin Petersen is losing his mind after one of his players hit the ground and the refs swallowed their whistle. He's asking them to call it both ways.

Oklahoma State takes a 3-point lead with 31.8 seconds left, and Utah calls a timeout. Utah 64 | Oklahoma State 67
