bluesky fact: it doesn’t actually matter what you call posts on here until you complain about it, then they’re skeets

If I could have Thanksgiving Dinner with anyone, alive or dead, I would want them to be alive.

Threads blew a 3-1 lead

FYI, you can remove your post from a troll quoting you. Here’s how.

If you don’t know who Jay Graber is, you will. She’s the woman behind Blue Sky. Everyone’s talking about it. In just the past week, Bluesky’s user base has exploded, more than doubling to over 16 million as people scramble for an alternative to X, Facebook, and Threads. 🧵

More sports!

Weird feature to want imo

adios to that hellscape ✌🏼

This cartoon is spot on.

Sports starter pack included!!

I'm going to start working on this, and will add to it as more major media outlets join Bluesky. I expect the pace to pick up very soon and very significantly. Major media has let us down significantly over the last ten years, but it's still vital to know what's being reported. go.bsky.app/2JyEju6

Okay, one more random tip for newbies: if someone quote-skeets (yes, they're called skeets, shut up) you in a way to dunk on your or annoy you, you can "detach" your skeet from the quote, so that it no longer shows. This is also useful in ending brigading attacks.

if u are wondering about that red pin emoji here 📌 if u find a post u want to return to u can stick a pin in it by replying with the red pin emoji then use @jaz.bsky.social's red pin feed which keeps track of your red pins

Oh that’s… that’s not…

goodnight and welcome to Bluesky
