What do you mean they canceled Joy Reid’s show? That’s not right with me. Joy’s voice deserves to be heard. She’s honest and speaks the truth. #BringBackJoy

Happy Birthday Rihanna! I hope this day and year ahead are filled with love and happiness for you!

Happy Birthday Michael Jordan! 🏀

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Sending you all love and hope you feel loved every day. Love in every form is so important especially right now. 💕💗

I agree that Halftime Show called out America and I think it’s one of the most important messages in any halftime show so far. Black Joy can’t and won’t be taken away. White supremacy and racism won’t win. Also a reminder that they our evil leaders won’t erase Blackness or Black People.

Congratulations to The Philadelphia Eagles and to the city of Philly!

Kendrick’s performance was a reminder of how art is the best form of protest and resistance. He reminded the world that Black Joy cannot and will not be taken away not even by a racist leader. New Orleans was the best city for this halftime show to take place. The city that’s the heart of Black Joy

I honestly loved the Halftime Show! Kendrick Lamar and SZA did a wonderful job! Serena Williams making an appearance was a very pleasant surprise! Also, I love that John Batiste sang that National Anthem the New Orleans way! Lady Gaga did a beautiful tribute tonight performing Hold My Hand!

I just really pray everyone is safe today at the game and on flights getting to and from New Orleans. I hope today at least can bring some form of celebration and fun.

The hardest thing I’m having with all this that’s going on with our country is how everything we grew up being taught to enjoy, appreciate, and love about America is all a lie. I know it comes from a place of privilege to say this. It’s deeply upsetting to know it was all a lie.

Of course one of the best if not THE BEST halftime show of all time PRINCE!!

Also, Beyoncé put on sn incredible show! So powerful the lights went out if you recall that!

Since today’s the Super Bowl, I have to mention Lady Gaga’s performance from 2017. I will always remember that moment and how proud I was of her. She put on that show during a time when she was still really struggling with her mental and physical health. Her passion and hard work inspire me deeply.

Good luck to Kendrick Lamar and SZA today! I’m so excited to see your performances!

Everyone please join me in saying a prayer for the Caribbean coast tonight. They are experiencing some dangerous earthquakes. Praying for everyone living on the coastline/ the coastal towns to be safe.

I’m really excited to see Kendrick and SZA perform!

Anyway I know there are way more important things to be angry about in our country….

Honestly, what’s the point of announcing movies/ TV shows before they’re completed? It just gets people’s hopes up for nothing when they end up being scrapped…

A movie I was really looking forward to this year got scrapped even after being made. I’m so disappointed over it. I get it it’s not my decision to make but I’m just deeply disappointed in this work going to waste. I’m allowed to be bummed. 😩

Happy Birthday to Bob Marley! He will forever be a legend!

If they shut down TikTok, then what about Hillman Tok University??? This is such a special space that Black professors created for their community. I don’t want them to lose it.

Trayvon Martin deserved to live to grow old. He deserved to be celebrating his 30th Birthday today.

Trayvon Martin should be celebrating his 30th birthday today.

Happy Birthday to Rosa Parks!

He has to be stopped… He is genocidal and a danger to humanity.

We must not give in to despair. If we do, we’re letting them win.

ABRACADABRA is amazing!!!!! 🥹

We really need unity more than ever right now. We need events that bring together. We need safe spaces with people we can trust and who we know have our back and we have theirs.

Okay, this might actually be the Best Grammys ever! I think everybody needed this tonight. Music is honestly one of the most powerful things in this world because of the way it brings people together. I thank all of you artists who make music, who make art, and who write.

BEYONCÉ! YES!!! Album Of the Year!!!! Cowboy Carter!!!

“Trans people are not invisible. Trans people deserve love. The queer community deserves to be lifted up. Music is love, thank you.” — Lady Gaga while accepting Best Pop Duo Performance at the #GRAMMYs

Thank you Lady Gaga. 💗

LADY GAGA! ABRACADABRA!

I’m also so happy for Doechii winning Best Rap Album! She’s so talented and truly deserves this win!

That was so beautiful! Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars singing to LA was a beautiful moment. Gaga also did an excellent performance for Fire Aid over the weekend.

Wow Beyoncé!!!! That’s awesome! Cowboy Carter winning Best county Album! I completely agree! #Grammys

So yes I’m grieving today for joy and for excitement. Having hopeful times to look ahead to with anticipation. It’s normal to feel this way. Right now, I’m struggling to know what to do and how to do it when it comes to resistance. I’m trying to do the homework and learn how.

I really miss the time when we were all excited to use social media and the soul purpose was to connect with others. so many people have left other platforms because they no longer feel safe on a lot of them. Bluesky, I hope we can make you a safe space that focuses on connecting with others.

Nobody has the right or the ability to erase your existence or to change who you are because they are uncomfortable with the real you. Remember that…

Absolutely it is! I will keep learning about it and honoring it.

Happy Birthday to Tallulah Bankhead! She was truly the life of the party!

Happy Birthday Kerry Washington! I hope your day and the year ahead are filled with love and happiness!

Why? Because we won’t allow you to

No matter how hard you try YOU WON’T EVER ERASE: 1. Black People/Black History/Culture 2. Native/Indigenous People/Native American History/culture 3. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr 4. LGBTQIA+ people 5. Women/Women’s history 6. Immigrants and their contributions to America 7.Holocaust remembrance

This concert Fire Aid is such a wonderful thing to do. The people of LA really need joy right now. Thank you to every artist who performed for them tonight. In our world right now we need more of this. Coming together to hear music. Music heals/nurtures the soul. #FireAid

Using a tragedy that caused the deaths of innocent people to justify your racist hate is beyond evil. There is no excuse for those remarks. So heartless and disgusting. 😡

These people are truly the DEI hires. What the fudge ripple does diversity, equity, and inclusion have to do with a fatal plane crash? Unlike his cabinet, in the real world, you gave to be 80-11 times more qualified as a "DEI" hire. But facts allude these people.
