📚💙📚🌶️📚⏳This week's reading includes The Thorns Remain, by JJA Harwood. Set in 1919 in Scotland, I'm not far in yet. It's getting easier, but this book is outside my normal range. Moira Jean swings between being flippant and snarky, to mourning her fiance, so sharply I get whiplash.

📚💙📚🎧Attica, by Garry Kilworth. It's an adventure story of three children who go into an attic to search for a long-lost watch, only to find they've left the world they've always known. Their cat, Nelson, follows them there. It's a journey. I'm halfway through and excited to find out what happens!

📚💙📚🪐Finished The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook. We learn much more, and about the thoughts of the NPCs. So many things happen in this story. I feel the looming future situations with certain characters. To even say who would be to spoil! Really excited to continue reading.

📚💙📚🩸 The Birds & Other Stories, Daphne du Maurier. Foreword by David Thomson. The foreword is mostly about Daphne du Maurier and Alfred Hitchcock, so gives excellent biographical details about each of them. I love Hitchcock's movie, and find it stayed quite true to the story values of the book.
