Nighttime snow Brings morning signs Of early morning critters.

Two patterns I made from a photo of cracked pavement; I held the edge of my water bottle at the edge the frame to create possibilities like the second image. The original photo and one more variation in the comments. #SciArt #Patterns #Mosaic #Symmetry #DigitalArt

At a rehearsal held for the first time in an art space, I was challenged by a fellow singer to make some of my designs out of this display of a sculpture of two clown shoes. The second design includes bits of another work of art that was in the background.

A view from behind an unnamed frozen waterfall formed in winter from (persistently!) flowing water diverted around the more well known (in Ohio anyway) Dundee Falls, when it gets frozen.

As global warming spreads down from the poles, I am sad about flooded island nations, angry about sabotaged international cooperation (the world did ban CFCs and saved the ozone layer), but I also will miss more occasions to see peaceful gently falling fluffy snow. (My Wooster OH backyard today).

In these times of upheaval, chaos, destruction, conflict, and fear, making and looking at this symmetrical layered pattern, with colors that seem to be a mix of fire and ice, feels heartening and soothing. [I made this design from an image I will post in a comment along with another design].

This little tripod of a stick was sitting there on the sidewalk, and it just called to me to collage it into some patterns. [I also love engaging with the subtle beige and gray shades of winter]. Let me know if you enjoyed one of these!

Yesterday I stepped out into a world that was a bit freezy-drippy. [Just in case you wanted some other imagery ither than the memory of the Kansas City Chiefs defense and receivers lumbering sluggishly after the first five minutes — I think the Gatorade was spiked with sedatives]

A friend across the country sends me photos as a challenge to make my mosaic art out of them. Here are two of the pieces I made from his latest photo. I will post his original photo in a comment, and also post a comment with two more variations.
