Clearing my backlog one game at a time. After Star Wars Outlaws I’ve moved onto Alan Wake 2, finally. Love @remedygames.com and how nice their games feel to play (not to mention how gooood they are at narrative). Found this. Absolute king. Love that guy.

Finished Star Wars Outlaws after 30 hours and it’s a great adventure into this IP. The game is at its best when it pits Kay directly against the Empire. I found the syndicate stuff less appealing, but raiding imperial outposts is some of the most fun I’ve had in this setting.

Oblivion is, so far, everything I loved about Skyrim but with QoL and gameplay choices I might actually prefer. Being able to use magic without sacrificing the shield in your off-hand feels great. Ignoring the quest marker and exploring is as much fun as I’d hoped it would be.

I remember a recall from when I was a vehicle technician from an Asian manufacturer who hadn’t factored in weather proofing under the car because they don’t use the same road salt most of Europe does. Rapid deterioration of the subframe. The rear axel came clean off one of their 4x4s.
