“You can’t use logic to talk someone out of a position logic didn’t get them to.” For a lot of people, “seeing is believing”. If their beliefs are built on emotion, identity, or fear, facts won’t change anything. You’re not debating ideas—you’re challenging how they see themselves.

Their response is to do the exact same things that their opposition is doing. To abandon their own base and lose the rest of the soul they had. Yeah, so if this is what they plan to adopt, I will no longer align myself with that party.

I see the comments. The frustration. The fear. Even the ones saying, “Use the Second Amendment.” I get it. The feeling that words aren’t enough. That we’re past the point of talking. Things feel terrible and the folks that some of us voted for seem to have crawled into a hole somewhere.

I woke up “on one” this morning. Definitely feeling a way about where things are heading. I’ve been trying to maintain balance in my life but it is proving to be incredibly challenging. Made the mistake of reading news articles from across the “political spectrum”. The spin was predictable.

This motherfucker trying to sell out Ukraine the same way he is selling out the US. I can only imagine how this is going to be spun to depict this meeting as 45/47 being “forceful, yet fair” and “a true leader”. GTFOH One things for sure though, he is certainly NOT a nice OR kind person.
