Hey MAGA Christians, school shootings have nothing to do with a lack of prayer in public schools. I’ve studied the Bible extensively and served as a pastor for nearly three decades. Trust me: there is no prayer that will suddenly make children bulletproof. Cut the BS—it’s the guns.

👇🏼 we are getting worse federal government function while paying MORE for it.

Happy Earth Day! 💚

NBC has confirmed what we have been saying for weeks. Hegseth clearly copied classified strike schedules from a secure device to his personal phones. This alone would get a line service member thrown in prison. But when it’s SecDef we are supposed to ignore it.

There may not be a more quintessential Republican gambit than “please ignore my misconduct, and in exchange I’ll tell you about people I bombed in the Middle East.”

To cut ‘waste and fraud,’ reform Medicare Advantage Republicans in Congress have made…noise about eliminating “waste and fraud” in federal health-care spending. If they were serious about this goal, they would start by overhauling something they have championed: Medicare Advantage.

Congress literally created an Alien Terrorist Removal Court for the expeditious removal of aliens who are designated as terrorists, under a preponderance of evidence standard. I think problem isn’t the time it would take, but the fact that the government would have to produce actual evidence

Right now, the President is flipping between Fox News, OAN and Newsmax searching for a new person to lead the Pentagon.

The rule of law isn't just words. It’s the bedrock stability that protects our way of life. Attacks on it merit more than a shoulder shrug & then a look away. I wrote a little bit to help you understand more about what it is & how it impacts our daily lives. joycevance.substack.com/p/rule-of-law

Every time the Justice Department tries to claim the military isn’t actually banning transgender people, Pete Hegseth tweets that it is. This is likely to come up at oral arguments at the DC Circuit Court of appeals — conveniently scheduled for tomorrow.

Elon Musk has cut somewhere between 0% and 3% of what he promised—and most of what was cut was not waste or fraud or abuse, but simply expenditures Mr. Musk did not personally favor for partisan reasons. DOGE is the biggest program failure in the history of American government.

We're facing a dictatorship-in-progress, partly because of years of major media misbehavior. My free Stop the Presses newsletter offers 5 ways that legacy news outlets can finally start to undo the damage by confronting the corruption and dishonesty of the Trump regime.

Opinion | The Nobel is just the start: 16 imagined victories for Donald Trump - The Guardian

Turns out you can shape the agenda with dramatic action and maybe even shift public opinion. Crazy.

A draft Trump order would drastically restructure the State Department, cutting offices that address climate change, refugees, democracy and human rights while eliminating almost all Africa operations and shutting down embassies on the continent. @ewong.bsky.social www.nytimes.com/2025/04/20/u...

Someone needs to add some lithium to FROTUS’ Adderall.

Blessed Easter theme below.

Phoenix Ikner: I am a white supremacist. I love Donald Trump. I hate Black and brown people. Trump says universities are liberal propaganda machines. I’m convinced white people are under attack. Corporate Media: He had such a rough childhood and we just cannot fathom his motivation??? 😑

Daily court update from Trump Admin. in Kilmar Abrego Garcia case: “There is still nothing further to report”

You guys Elon Musk appointed the head of the IRS and President Trump didn’t even know about it.

ourworldindata.org/air-pollutio... Read an insightful summary of pollution sources and related causes of death. The US’ new head of EPA-Lee Zeldin says he believes none of this and will ignore it to support coal-fired power boiler growth and removing emissions testing.

BERMAN: How much do you think Vladimir Putin fears this threat from Rubio to move on from the peace negotiations? AUCHINCLOSS: Fears? He welcomes it. Because if the US withdraws, then Ukraine becomes Russia's playground ... this is Trump winking at Vladimir Putin and saying 'We lose, you win'

As a lawyer, I can tell you why Abrego Garcia must remain in El Salvador. If he were free, he could sue me for defamation and win. by Pam Bondi

“All of it — all of Trump’s…campaign to invoke the Alien Enemies Act…deporting people without due process — all of it is based on wildly unfounded propaganda, propaganda about who Bukele is, propaganda about what TdA is, propaganda about who these makeup artists and soccer players are.”

The incessant efforts by the Trump Administration, the Attorney General and MAGA voters to assassinate the character of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, shows their undying commitment to racism and indecency. They are horrible people. johnpavlovitz.substack.com/p/for-americ...

If I were a senator, @democrats.senate.gov I would be ON A PLANE to either Bluebonnet in Abilene or Harlingen NOW where Trump is about to send more people to CECOT under the Alien Enemies Act with no meaningful due process.

Dear senators who think you can’t do anything, Today, Senator Van Hollen - through diplomatic pressure - got a meeting with Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. So that thing you’re thinking about doing? DO IT. ~ All of Us

Read this, and think about how FROTUS has Hannity and Ingraham on speed dial.

U.S. immigration detention is a profit-driven enterprise. Private corporations like GEO Group and CoreCivic receive billions in federal contracts, earning daily revenue per detainee. The more migrants detained, the greater the profit—turning human suffering into a business model.

“If it is not possible to end the war in Ukraine, we need to move on,” (Marco Rubio) told reporters. Translation: this is difficult, so we (the USA) are going to let innocent people die at the hands of Russia, the invader. Then Marco jets off to Paris, for the simple stuff.

Bring this to Judge Boasberg's attention before he rules on criminal contempt. And to Judge Xinis's attention so she can decide to rule on criminal contempt in response to the DOJ lies to her about the status of Abrego Garcia. And to SCOTUS. Paying to have him kept is not "facilitating" his return.

That’s a good one! 😈

Once you capitulate, it’s never enough. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/16/u...

NOTE: There are more people *in this frame of television* than there are transgender athletes in the State of Maine *All* of this is theater for stupid people

Back in January, I reported on DOGE entering an agency system, exporting the data, OPM server info left open to the public, and someone signing in from a foreign country using a DOGE account. Almost identical to what the Whistleblower reported to NPR this week www.muellershewrote.com/p/a-fork-in-...

Judge Boasberg’s opinion in JGG v. Trump (4/16/25) is a masterpiece of judicial reasoning. He explains exactly why our legal system couldn’t survive tolerating willful defiance of clear judicial orders — even if those orders are ultimately overturned on appeal. The Supreme Court will have to agree.

BREAKING: The Trump administration plans to eliminate the IRS' Direct File program, an electronic system for filing your tax returns for free.

He’s threatening media companies who are critical of him. He’s talking about sending Americans to foreign prisons. He’s signing executive orders to investigate former staff members who spoke out against him. He’s defying the Supreme Court. Don’t you see what’s happening here?

Criminals deserve due process because due process is literally how we determine whether someone is, *in fact*, a criminal

“The home-growns are next,” Trump said. “You’re going to need to build about five more places.” "And in the background, you can hear laughter. Cold-blooded, justice-defying, humanity- rejecting laughter." open.substack.com/pub/america/...
