Dang. I had to take away screens and cancel our fun with friends tomorrow bc they wouldn’t do the work. We had 3 half-day outings this week and they just didn’t want to do anything else. It makes me sad, but it’s better than yelling. #homeschool

Big #homeschool day for us. A few parents in my community and I are attempting to get a pod together for our middle schoolers. We are striving to meet their academic and social needs. Today, we had a very inspired writing teacher in for a workshop with potential for a consistent class. 🤞

I struggle with this concept. But the abused don’t leave their abusers unless they believe there’s a soft place to land easy at hand. I read too many celebratory fb posts on Nov 7 about stickin’ to the libs that treat them like they are idiots. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Their hurt feelings were a voting pain point.
