So get this, Seattle is sunny and no rain, but East Coast is getting dumped on. What's with that? It's going to ruin our reputation in Seattle. We tell people it rains all the time to keep the crowd down. 😜

45 years ago today Mt St Helens erupted & totally changed the landscape surrounding it. I live in NW WA, but I was in NY state that day, and was very worried by the news. Is still something I'll never forget. It continued to have small eruptions for weeks & we could see the plume from miles away.

My husband and I attended the Olympia WA protest today. Local paper estimated over 5,000 protesters. Also had 2 bald eagles that flew over our heads as we held up our signs. Lots of cars honking in support as they drove by. It was great!
