Finally having time to giving @jetbrains.com's Junie a proper shot. So far, much more satisfied than what I expected :). We're getting to the cursor experience I wanted. Let's see how good it is at @kotlinlang.org now!

Canceled journeys, additional travel time and sweaty mornings are courtesy of the Dutch railway system!

My #Kotlin #GDE membership has been renewed 😁! I definitely haven't been as visible as I wanted to last year, but the good folks at Google found my background contributions still strong enough to be staying in the program. Thanks folks! Here's to lots of #kotlin impact in 2025!

Now that sounds like a great show to see live :) www.youtube.com/shor...

Kudos to microsoft for calling their collaboration product "teams", so I spend half my days saying "It's in the teams team", "I'll create a new team in teams" or do you mean the "team in teams"? Not confusing and super clear!

#GreenIT and #Sustainability are topics that are super close to my ❀️, but my real issue is that I really fail to not make them energy draining activities. It's almost like gardening on the edge of the abyss. Hard to enjoy the moment

Not going better today πŸ˜‚.

Didn't know that was a thing! Now I have really FOMO. Have fun folks!

I love going for a #run in the #winter. My shoes? A lot less πŸ˜…. Also, thanks Strava!

Idealizes the nuclear option, can’t answer im depth, can’t handle pushback. Definitely the leader I’d want to have! www.youtube.com/watc...

Insightful article to me about "discovery coders". I've been in many situations in the past where my teammates wanted to draw a plan. My head just doesn't work if I can't "poke" at the system with code. A mix of both, as usual, is probably the best :). jimmyhmiller.github....

Ok, saying I'm excited is an understatement! #kotlin #junie Thanks folks!

New blog, who dis! The latest ING tech #blog and talks about an #opensource library Ashish and his team has been developing to automate and standardize #testing. Have a read, and maybe a try!? medium.com/ing-blog/...

So my good folks, what's the cursor of Powerpoint? What #AI tool will pair with me to help create impactful and nice looking slides?

Back when I was a teenager, I wanted a 206 for years because seeing the WRC fly in rally was amazing. 20 years later, I just bought my very first car πŸš— (It's never too late 😝) and it's a 208. Guess I realized one of my childhood dreams πŸŽ‰.

Been doing some data analysis lately and #Kotlin notebooks, together with dataframe, kandy and sqlite are a really freaking powerful combination! Can't wait to show you the results :)

Does Bluesky have any any kind of bookmark/ favourite mechanism? That’s not what the like button is for?

Looks like I have to stop looking at Bluesky too for the coming days πŸ˜…. The US centrism is real (even though I feel for you my folks πŸ˜žπŸ«‚)

As a person very anxious about maintaining good conversation, this is an amazing and very (funny while) practical article ! "...what makes conversations pop off is indeed the social equivalent of doorknobs... features of the environment that allow you to do something" www.experimental-his...

Feels good to be back at a #meetup. First time in a while ☺️, and for some #sre goodness! Thanks @willybubba.bsky.social for organizing 🎊

This

My good folks, for many reasons I've decided to stop posting on Twitter for the foreseeable future. Not removing the account just yet, but it'll be in sleep mode. In the meantime, you can follow me on your platform of choice; I use the same handle everywhere 😊. Cheers!

In case you missed it, the ING blog is active again (and that's just the beginning!). And what better to start 2025 than a post about.... you guessed it :) #devex! Kudos to Erikos Alkalai, and stay tuned to hear more! medium.com/ing-blog/... #developerexperience

Nice to start working again only to see the frequenty of my trains has been divided by 2 this year. Let’s make the car always more attractive!

Elno lying about his skill level and stealing other people's work in video games? I'm sure he totally wouldn't do that kind of stuff to people in the companies he owns πŸ˜‡ www.youtube.com/watc...

Companies don't have ethics, they just react to the political climate...

Can everyone confirm that it is impossible to get _only_ the #git log history of a repository without completely cloning it ? As in, it is not possible to dissociate the "meta" info from downloading the actual files? Been banging my head on this for a while

Hear me out, there's plenty of wrong in that code, but appreciate how freaking smart the @kotlin casting system is. Because I checked isJava isn't null, I can check its value mid expression. 🀯 Stuff like this makes me come back to #kotlin every time. Good #devex right there.

"It is no longer sexual feelings and violence that are deeply repressed in this culture now.... We repress our benevolence and tenderness". What a strong way to end a #book, especially written almost 50 years ago. #reading app.thestorygraph.co...
