Wallace Shawn Emerges As Frontrunner To Replace Daniel Craig As James Bond

Today is the birthday of writer, producer, and editor Dwayne McDuffie (Feb. 20, 1962-Feb. 21, 2011).

Finally got my comps of the SPIDER-MAN: SHADOW OF THE GREEN GOBLIN collection!

We're prepping the DeMultiverse II books for the printer. Can't wait till people can hold these books in their hands! Our @spellboundcomics.bsky.social campaign ended back in August, but you can still do a late pledge of Kickstarter. www.kickstarter.com/projects/spe...

Looked up into the sky last night and saw a chain of at least 25 Starlink statellites sailing overhead. Very cool... ...until I remembered who owns them,

Always bears repeating.

61 years ago today. Even better than their first appearance. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIt9...

This arrived on my porch this morning. So grateful DOCTOR STRANGE: INTO SHAMBALLA is back in print for the first time in decades and so sorry Dan Green isn't here to see it.

30 years ago this week one of my all time favorite issues of Spider-Man was released: Amazing Spider-Man #400 @jmdematteis.bsky.social and Mark Bagley

10 + years. This day has finally happened NEVER GIVE UP NEVER SURRENDER (On your dreams)

Looking through BROOKLYN DREAMS in preparation for the new @darkhorse.com edition and I'm once again blown away by the astonishing art of Glenn Barr. Working with Glenn remains one of the most magical collaborations of my career. Can't wait till this is back out in the world in September.

Agree 100% with this right here. I am so sick of waiting till the end of the credits to see that tiny Thank you on the screen and seeing writers and producers taking credit for the stories they RETELL.

Axles Infernal # 2 is pre-launched on Kickstarter! This supernatural road trip is a fiery, horror adventure through a multitude of hells. Sign up now to get notified when crowdfunding starts — and help spread the news! tinyurl.com/axlesinfernal

Speaking of birthdays: Happy Birthday (a day late) to Charles Dickens, one of the greatest storytellers ever. My favorites? David Copperfield, Little Dorrit and, of course, A Christmas Carol.

It's Batman co-creator Bill Finger's birthday! For many years Finger was the single most underappreciated creator in comics history—hidden in Bob Kane's shadow. No Finger, no Batman. No Batman...and the comic book and pop culture landscape would be very different today.

7 February 1964: The Beatles’ American invasion begins! Ringo Starr: "It was so exciting. On the plane, flying in to the airport, I felt as though there was a big octopus with tentacles that were grabbing the plane and dragging us down into New York." www.beatlesbible.com/1964/02/07/b...

Just over a year ago I did a pilot podcast for BBC Sounds, interviewing the legendary @davegibbons90.bsky.social. Sadly the podcast never got picked up, but if you fancy an hour in our company this was the result! liamsharp.substack.com/p/sharpys-co...

Working with Liam on Man-Thing was a fantastic experience. We could have gone on for years.
