These franchises are all just saturated. Stories set in Star Wars or MCU come with a load of baggage and expectations.

I'm confused about why we're supposed to venerate Urkel and Screech now.

Might it not also crush demand enough to be relatively neutral from a GDP perspective? Prices up, quantity demanded down, significant portion of revenues redirected to government. It may well be inflationary with respect to prices paid but deflationary from a real perspective.

I own far more TIPS than nominal. Seems a no-brainer given real yields vs. history. It's insurance that pays you!

I don't get the lack of love for TIPS here

When that Arnold movie came out with him trying to get whatever hot toy that was. Or maybe cabbage patch kids.

Can you not have both? Price increases just as mechanical response to increased component / imported inventory costs plus a reduction in unit demand from those increased prices and from reduced income as tariffs go to govt. rather than to manufacturers to pay workers.

He was the analyst for Soros and Druck for the ERM trade. He definitely knows his shit and is calm and collected. Doesn't suggest a long tenure given that but eminently qualified.

If it's an iPhone, they should either make the increments smaller or just make them smaller for either up or down. It's often either just too loud or not quite loud enough.

Neither is a suite of felony convictions. Doesn't move the needle now regardless. I don't know much about the ICC, but if it's as compromised as the UN seems to be, I'm not sure this is even relevant.

Given that they don't have an offsetting increase in income, don't they also just reduce final demand? If you increased the price of a TV or a laptop by 25% and my income is flat, I'm going to have to trade down or postpone any purchase. Even if it is inflationary, it may hurt spending.

Israel and Ukraine are obvious examples of this too.
