spokane i was unfamiliar with your game! this rocks!

dont bellevue my seattle!

orb of bun

learned today that 56th street in ballard (a block north of market) used to be called state street

big props to @seattledot.bsky.social for a prompt response to my FIFI report on a wheel-grabbing expansion joint in the pine st bike lane!

my camping hot take: more campgrounds should have cafes. i’d love to enjoy this view with a morning latte

i am a big salish sea enjoyer

i can’t say i’m having a good time but i’m incredibly proud of the level of Bike Guy i’m achieving this weekend

“why the guy who hates affordable housing is the workers’ advocate seattle needs“ - @mlklabor.bsky.social, probably

new system map just dropped!

just ran into @wilsonforseattle.bsky.social in the light rail elevator! add that to the long list of bruce-harrell-will-never-do-that

adding this to the list of things bruce harrell will never do

this weekend the u district street fair has the Ave closed to traffic, the syttende mai parade pedestrianized parts of market st and ballard ave, and pike place is closed to cars for construction. and somehow seattle is doing just fine!

i think i just witnessed a light rail operator commuting by light rail? they got on at C/ID, went up to the operator cab, unlocked it and chatted with the person driving the train, and then got off at the OMF. i didn’t know that was an option!

seattle needs way more skyscrapers taller than the hills next to them. gimme towers in northgate looking down on maple leaf, towers in ballard looking down on phinney ridge, towers in rainier valley looking down on beacon hill, towers in interbay looking down on magnolia

i just can’t imagine bruce harrell saying this…

oo i think somebody’s a little scared of workers! did someone’s anti-union reputation get them nervous for an international day of solidarity and protest? 🥹🥹🥹 anyways happy may day seattle

i’ve been seeing a lot of these stickers lately so it’s time for me to share a silly idea of mine: remake the sticker but with the 542 bus instead of the state highway insignia, and it says redmond, washington instead of mt baker, washington

how is this still the land use immediately adjacent to a light rail station that opened over 15 years ago? what are we doing folks?
