I think Adelman has done a good job of sort of staying out of Jokic's way in crucial moments. That being said "beware the interim coach". Everyone likes the interim. Remember Melvin Hunt in 2015? JB Bickerstaff has made a whole career out of being the interim/new head coach 1/2

Most of you probably wont remember the movie Brain Candy. There's an "Eastern European" cab driver who does a pithy voice over recounting a lullaby his mother used to sing "Life is short. Life is shit. Soon it will be over" Really reminds me of Jokic. Everything needs to be overcome.

I love LOVE that The Substance got so many Oscar noms ... however the best original screenplay nom was ... a stretch. I'd say the script was probably the weakest part of that movie tbh. Everything else is exemplary.
