I thought the monster, fist sized cookie would solve the "big bang theory" (I, ALWAYS playing) of my inner dialogue: "another cookie? There's a carrot in the fridge..." 4-cookies-in-one to save the decision making ... But, nope. Can't finish it. Must need the calorie burn of the walk to the pantry

OMG I DID IT! Dylan's bread from #GBBO!! 2c flour, 1tsp salt, 1/4 tsp yeast, 1 c. water with 2T gochuchang paste and 10 cloves confit garlic dissolved in 1) mix ingredients, cover and set on counter 24hours 2) lightly punch down, form into bowl, cover on counter 3 hours

@stitch.bsky.social trial 2: 2T gogu, 10 confited garlic cloves, same size loaf. AND, letting it rise 24hrs (+ 3hr second rise) to allow "flavors to develop" (hehe, sounds so fancy to say). Thoughts?

So, I love #GBBO - I used to get instruction (when it was on BBC) and faith-in-humanity, now I just get the faith - which really help! I simply cannot understand these other reality shows where people are just... behaving badly or making absurd decisions or... just wanting to be famous.
