Just finished the audiobook of Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy's The Last Guy on Earth, which I relished every minute of. So much to enjoy. Great narration too. (Also, random observation but I ❤️ the way JF Harding says "else" (elts))

Not sure what happened there. Whole evening eaten up with updating welcome emails for my newsletter. P.r.o.c.r.a.s.t.i.n.a.t.i.o.n?

So, should we go back to blogging? I loved the heady days of romance blogs.

I'm really sceptical that Bluesky can deliver what *I* want from a social media app, but here goes anyway: how do you get your book recs? My process for this has gone through big changes over the years. I must admit that Amazon recs is now more significant than I'd like.

I'm better at procrastinating than you.

Sometimes I whisper-mutter under my breath when writing, v. quiet, like barely discernible. Was typing away in bed last night (my shoulders love me) and said something sort of sibilant - a second later, out of nowhere my charging iPhone said loudly "Uh huh". I just about jumped out of my skin.

Thank you ❤️@buttonsmom2003.bsky.social

And it’s awesome 🥰

Loved this.

Well that lasted five minutes.

Might relent and get a Christmas tree tomorrow. It's early for me, but I need something cheery in the house. It's been SO cold and this has been a long, strange year🎄

Kinda forgot I was meaning to try out Bluesky. Haven't really managed to get any momentum up with it yet. Not sure that many people I know have moved over? Am I wrong? Tell me I'm wrong!

I've been trying to spend a little time here on Bluesky, to try it out, and it's interesting. A big difference is that when I joined Twitter, it felt really swift - I followed and followed like mad, quickly building a network. I'm not inclined to do that here. I'm quite wary this time around.

Currently reading @elliethomas.bsky.social's Town Bronze. It's the the first Regency I've read in a while and it's such fun! Am getting so in the regency mood - keep rapping my husband over the knuckles with an imaginary fan and exclaiming "'Pon Rep!' Off to do a cotillion.

Listening to Blur's new album The Ballad of Darren and it's so good. So many amazing songs. Russian Strings a particular favourite 🥰

Am new. 'lo.
