Is it more fun here?
I talk and write about film, TV and other cultural (hopefully) good stuff. And I can’t stop watching the news. Come say hi.

The only thing I love more about this movie than the movie itself is the soundtrack. Pure gold.

My head is jammed with the unposted. Usually glad to come to my senses, but someday…

I’m so sorry. It is, indeed, gutting. We just love them so much.

Don’t blame him. Won’t somebody give him an award already???

I got to tell him that I watched (and cried at) the movie as a little girl. He kind of loved that and gave me a great interview. What a lovely man with an awesome body of work.

3:00 is key. We made the mistake of hitting Trader Joe’s one Super Bowl Sunday around 2. Thought I’d need padding and a helmet myself!

The Wicked screening I attended was full of SAG members who applauded wildly after each number. FWIW. As it is elsewhere, so much depends on who is voting, and if they vote at all.

I was lucky enough to interview him a few times. He was as warm and open as you’d imagine. And he did appreciate my telling him that, while the other kids were outside playing, I insisted staying in, because MISTER ROBERTS was on TV.

Paul came on my show at the height of Pee-Wee. Charming and quiet, he “became” Pee-Wee as soon as the mike went live. It was astonishing to watch. All due respect for quite the talent.

He’ll need someone across the table. Happy to help, if needed.

I love that, even after hitting the Marvel money, he continues to commit in lower budget, chancy indies. And he’s terrific in them.
