This is a historical mistake.

“The statement says absolutely nothing about the global security risks posed by superintelligent AI systems, at a time when top AI company CEOs are rushing towards building a technology that they themselves openly admit can end all life on Earth,” said Miotti. “We can't afford to waste any time.”

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers. This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder. Auschwitz took time.

Elon Musk's support for Germany’s far-right AfD reflects a dangerous alliance between tech progress and nationalist ideology. By dismissing historical guilt and denouncing multiculturalism, Musk perpetuates exclusion and revisionism, aligning innovation with authoritarianism. We must resist.

Gonna say it was autism when I karate chop a Nazi.

Trump has deployed active military to help round up migrants and put them into detention camps. The military forced us out of our homes at gunpoint in 1942 because we were considered possibly disloyal Americans. They sent us to internment camps for four years. History is repeating. Pay attention.

History is not a mere catalog of inert memories; it is a living force. It challenges us, reveals our contradictions. In an era of rising populism across Europe, it reminds us: there is no future without rememberance, without commemoration.

The rise of figures like Musk underscores the fetishization of tech oligarchs as saviors. Musk’s platforms amplify authoritarian propaganda under the guise of “free speech,” emboldening far-right voices worldwide. His actions, like his nazi salute, are not anomalies; they are warnings.

IMPORTANT!! 🚨 Surveillance state update — From a friend with informed intel. No more crowd photos of any kind, friends. I’m sorry.

Musk’s grotesque Nazi salute during the inauguration ceremony—is not simply a news cycle scandal; it is a declaration of intent. Musk, cloaked in tech messianism, wields his wealth and platforms to promote authoritarian ideologies under the guise of free speech absolutism!

After this inauguration ceremony, I think it is clear that in 2025, the warnings of history feel more urgent than ever. Authoritarianism is rising, democracy is clearly under attack. We’ve failed to act before, and the cost was unimaginable. Let’s not fail again. medium.com/@joffrey.bae...

If you write better than you speak, why not write to me? I coached people in the tech industry for a long time. Surprise, surprise, a lot of them are autistic and/or ADHD. The best convos we had were over text, so I switched to a written coaching service. Find out more here: Wearethinky.com

RedNote is subject to Chinese laws that can compel data sharing with the government, raising privacy concerns for users outside China. Always review the platform's data policies before sharing sensitive information. #PrivacyRisks #RedNote

If you are considering a move from TikTok to RedNote, evaluate carefully. I know TikTok faces scrutiny over data privacy, but I think a platform switch requires vigilance. Research RedNote’s policies on cybersecurity, content moderation, and user safety. Your digital footprint deserves transparency!

Well, if Musk buys TikTok, I would expect chaos. From free speech controversies to data ethics, his track record suggests more drama than innovation. Not sure TikTok would survive his polarizing leadership—mostly after the ban of the platform in the USA. Another App headed for turbulence, it seems.

I started following Arxiv here on BlueSky and good god! Is it even possible to keep up with what is being published? My “followers” feed has nothing else now! Just arxiv papers! How many good ideas are just there unnoticed?

Reverse Thinking Makes LLMs Stronger Reasoners abs: arxiv.org/abs/2411.19865 Train an LLM to be able to generate forward reasoning from question, backward question, and backward reaoning from backward question Shows an average 13.53% improvement over the student model’s zero-shot performance

I mean, if you really want to explain clearly the Poisson distribution, just say it helps predict how often an event happens in a fixed time/space if it occurs randomly. E.g how many cars pass in an hour on a quiet road. If you know the average, it shows the chances of seeing 0, 1, 2, or more events

The fact that, today, we keep spending millions to kick people out of our borders instead of working on integration, still beats me. In the grand scheme of humanity, we are all migrants...

That's a good example of how NOT to use AI

Well, it seems like ML risks becoming a tool for pseudoscience, creating more ethical and epistemic harm. We really need robust governance and accountability frameworks to tackle the issue at the root. Without safeguards, AI risks entrenching systemic biases, discrimination etc. We can do better!

This post actually captured something essential here: transphobia isn’t just about individual acts of hate but a whole system that fails, excludes, and erases. How do we push back not just against the individuals but against the institutions quietly complicit in this harm?
