Finally got a chance to play Little Kitty, Big City. It definitely had some Untitled Goose Game vibes, but with a fair amount of narrative added. The whole thing was SUPER CUTE and all-ages friendly (for anyone looking for games for their kids). Played through the whole thing in ~7 hours total.

Did NOT expect that twist in the very first episode of TOMORROW+i! 😲 Hit me in all the feels. ❤️ Interesting modern limited sci-fi series made in Thailand. (There is even English dubbing for folks who don't want to deal with subtitles.)

Join fellow industry experts and recruiters at DigiPen on Saturday, April 5th to view the latest that our students have to offer, and learn how they can become valuable members of your team. This year's event includes art portfolio reviews, a networking lunch, and our classic reverse career fair. 🎉

I don't typically go out of my way to watch goofy stuff, but levity is in short supply these days, and there is something about Resident Alien that really hits me square in the funnybone. I must be their target audience, because I laugh WAY too much watching that show. (It's a good PM pick-me-up.)

Animator friends- need some work?

It's that time of year again! Enjoy your dumb chocolates or flowers or tennis bracelets or whatever. 😆 But more importantly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LITTLE BROTHER, NO MÁS TOMÁS (who will always be "mommy's little valentine" according to her, haha). 🎂🎉❤️

I feel like someone in my friends circles recently became a dedicated life coach for folks with ASD/ADHD, but I can't find the announcement or remember exactly who it was (or if it was even here, or some other social media site). In any case, here's a possible work lead for that sort of thing.

I had SUPER low expectations for Oblivion w/ Tom Cruise (2013) but it turned out to be a fun little thing that had me digging through Reddit for some Q&A afterward. Its last day on Netflix is 2/28, so check it out soon if you have any interest in post-apocalyptic action-y sci-fi +Morgan Freeman.

Mythic Quest has been pretty amusing. "Uh, hey, guys, fellas... and Michelle." That was basically what the first 10-15 years of game dev life was like for me (although this programmer pit has actual desks; I think we were using old loose doors propped up on sawhorses at my very first studio).

I did not have chilblains on my bingo card of weird crap possible this year. 🥶☹️

Just discovered today that I can grab my pull up bar and pull my toes up to grab the top of the door frame. Huh. I should probably make that something I do every time I walk by that doorway. 🤔 #circuslife

I REALLY should not have started playing Octopath Traveler 2 when I am trying to preload a bunch of curriculum design work. 😅

I can’t tell if my neighborhood association actually reads me as male or if everyone uses he/him pronouns for me out of some well-meaning impulse because they think I might be a trans guy. (As a non-binary person, I find it interesting from a sociological perspective.)
