If the betrayal from the United States towards Ukraine isn’t a clearer warning signal for Europe, I don’t know what is. Europe (inc. UK) needs to come together. No “ever closer union” crap - one single goal. I suggest cheap, abundant and secure energy for every person and business. Focus on that.

Obviously Trump will go with supply side - but lower demand? He’s very likely to fumble social security or healthcare cuts - a lot of his base consumes them. Almost certainly would not favour higher interest rates. He’s always argued for a weaker dollar to help exports. Tariffs? Taxes?
