Bills PR/KR Brandon Codrington was on the field for a couple of reps. When the team went to positional drills, Codrington was no longer participating. Ja’Marcus Ingram was a DNP, he missed Wednesday due to an excused absence. The rest of the Bills were practicing Thursday.

The Bills signed QB Mike White to the active roster and waived LB Nicholas Morrow, which gives them a backup QB not named Josh Allen in Week 18, along with the emergency third QB option for the playoffs. Plus more: QB Mike White's new contract with the Bills runs through the 2025 season.

The Bills went through their first practice of the week (Wednesday was a walk through) and LB Terrel Bernard was on the field. Despite him not playing this weekend against the Patriots, that's a terrific sign for the first round of the playoffs.

Bills HC Sean McDermott said QB Mitchell Trubisky will get the majority of work on Sunday against the Patriots. He said it's going to be tough to get practice squad QB Mike White elevated for the game due to a number's crunch, but they're still working through it.
