Oh wow, I just found an annotated Velvet Underground setlist and tickets from 1993 which I completely forgot I had! Judging by the writing this was Sterling Morrison's, as I don't think Lou Reed would have played a strat. I should get this framed.

Circa 2010, when I was a BBC producer, one of the weirdest internal focus groups I attended was arranged by Alan Yentob's office. A few minutes in, it transpired that its main purpose was to find out about people's perceptions of Botney himself. I've never known another BBC exec do that.
