Finished KING: A LIFE by Jonathan Eig. Terrific book, the most human portrait of MLK I've ever encountered. But I understand that some folks need a bit more of the Mythical Hero MLK and a little less All Too Human MLK. Harder to find inspiration in the latter. He looks too much like us. #booksky

Kind of interesting that my senator (Jerry Moran) is becoming the face of "oops!" He's never been a particular Trump supporter, but he also hasn't objected as much as he should, so I don't feel bad about this. He's the face of weak-kneed Republicans who knew better and tried to look the other way.
