Over half term I put some decent time into Disco Elysium. After bouncing off the ropey Blade Runner port on the Switch. Found Disco slow going on the first day (10hrs in) of the investigation with your character nursing a hangover. Started to pick up on day two.

Been play bits of Moss since start of January. Turned on PSVR1 did one puzzle in room and the game ended. Had reall ICO feel to its castle interiors. Think I preferred this to Astrobot Robot Rescue from before Xmas.

Went up to Walsall for Retro Realm yesterday. Permanent resident started by couple of guys who do Retro Revival. Loads of cabs for £8 in. Picked my jaw off the floor when noticed the Dariusburst wide cab. Never seen one in the wild before. Sega Ikaruga sit down cab too. 👌 Definitely going back.

Another issue of @forgottenworlds.bsky.social. Covering my two favorite console mags in high school. SuperPlay and MeanMachines. Planted that seed / obsession with shock of the new that was 16-bit import.

Had little play around with the Retrotink 5x this weekend. I’ve had it for a few years never really tried to optimize the settings for each console. Just being using it out of the box. Also didn’t support Spectrum 128k RGB signals out of the box without software up date. Lovely scan lines.
