Visualizing mitochondrial membrane proteins in live cells can be challenging due to the size of fluorescent protein tags (~240 residues). In our recent paper, we show how a small tetracysteine tag (6 residues) enables accurate visualization of VDAC1 in live cells. journals.plos.org/plosone/arti...
