There are over 8 billion people on the planet Earth. It's hard to believe the whole world revolves around me. We are all creative beings, so if it could be true for me its true for every being. That's a whole lot of spinning heads!

I just received the packet of 28 new egg dyes from Ukrainian EggCessories in Canada. And today I received the first goose egg of the season from my Toulouse goose! Now I'm eating the most delicious egg-and-ham sandwich. #Pysanky #PysankyForUkraine

Love prevails over Evil. #Pysanky #PysankyForUkraine

The table is staring at me! Or maybe it's waiting for me to drop some food!

Just to be clear, I stand with Ukraine. Scammers and haters, go away.

When I created my Clown Character, I went to the thrift store and scrounged around my house for whatever I could find to make a costume. It was an affordable and fun way to get into the clowning arts. I found these oversized canvas boots with a bulbous toe and painted them. #FebruArty shoes.

I want to be a light in the world, because honestly, that's what brings me joy. I still struggle with other people's self-centered actions that cause others harm, in the guise of doing right. Liars and scammers create suffering. Russia's war in Ukraine is evil in deed. #BlueSkyArtShow

What's my angle for the last day of #JanuArty? Designing my own 'rosette' patterns for chip carving using a compass and ruler. My first chip carving instructor taught me how to do this. I teach this in my classes now. Get a compass and ruler and try it out! #ChipCarving

Here is a special double-edged knife I created as a gift for a friend. I'm waiting for Spring. Basswood, woodburning, watercolor paints, oil. I will create another one. #JanuArty green as the plants that heal us, a bird for the gardens we grow. With love, the seed we sow.

A really talented chip carver to follow! #JanuArty #ChipCarving #WoodCarving

There are many kinds of surface decorations for wood. Besides painting, I present the three forms I use, which modify the wood in some way, rather than cover it up. Chip Carving, Pyrography and Kolrosong... #ChipCarving #Pyrography #Kolrosing #JanuArty

If you want a peaceful, loving way to help people in Ukraine, I highly recommend this amazing organization. Micto Dobra, or City of Goodness, is a women and children's center that provides refuge for abused women, their children, women and children fleeing. They are also an orphanage.

I facilitated a woodcarving workshop all day today, with two neighbors who wanted to carve birds. In addition, I worked a little more on these spoons and an egg. #JanuArty

Hey #JanuArty friends! I'm going out of order for prompts or even off list, because what I'm working on may not fit. Not everything I work on works. Here is a "broken" musical spoons from rotten silver maple.

A sweet-heart #JanuArty (WIPs). I'm making some sweet Valentines-day necklaces. And a little cherry bird and heart charms. More tomorrow! It's the weekend! Woo hoo!

For more inspiration than a single person can handle, a list of lists to follow! Don't forget #JanuArty

Opposing spoons make music. That is, When they are complete, they will. #JanuArty does anybody ever wish for less time?

A sketch on the street corner #JanuArty Well, I was watching a jam session and this guitar player was really flying on his guitar. It was like the whole room was moving! I called this "Co-motion at the Crossroads"

My Dala Horse was supervising yesterday as I cut out and started carving two more musical spoons. Progress puts me in a happy place. I had to cut out a new pattern, because somewhere I misplaced the first one. #JanuArty because of the cold, I also have today off from work! Happy to carve more today.
