As far as I can tell, in the Potterverse, the good guys have straight teeth and the bad guys have crooked teeth. JK Rowling was a terrible person way before she officially became a dreadful person.

Me too! I'm enjoying it way too much. But... but... Lost and GoT hurt me and I haven't fully recovered.

I witnessed many layoffs at AOL. Even when carried out with some thought and precision, there was always blowback: some core system left unattended, some critical dependency brought to light. Given the size and the speed of the DOGE slaughters, there is 100% certainty of massive screwups.

When a photo looks like an Old Master painted it, you know you've created something special. Great capture.

My favorite Tarantino. The opening scene, the restaurant scene, and the bar scene are Tarantino's finest moments. There's even sort of a suggestion of a plot.

And a general lack of empathy hurts as well. Some people only want to be listened to, but they themselves don't listen. If you are talking WITH someone (as opposed to AT someone) you should be keenly aware of how your message is being received.

The famous Antelope Canyon is right there as well (Page, Arizona). In terms of geology / landscapes, that area and a couple hundred miles around is stunning. Grand Staircase, Escalante, Bryce, Zion, Capital Reef, etc.

In second grade I was convinced I knew what the teacher was going to say before she said it, so I was mouthing her words along with her. She thought I was mocking her and gave me a week's detention. That was my first lesson in "the world is not fair".

Hollywood, and most writers and directors, would rank entertainment over substance and accuracy any day of the week. Based on the history of box office, moviegoers heartily agree.

Sweet snag! Unless it is King Crimson doing K-Pop covers in which case -- well, come to think of it, that would still be awesome.

Virginia resident here. Incredibly disappointed in you, Senator. In this critical moment of America’s history you are failing, on multiple levels, to do the right thing.
