WTF: “Trump’s treasury secretary Bessent seeks ‘meaningful negotiations’ with more than 50 countries”. BUT why didn’t they negotiate BEFORE imposing massive tariffs that caused market to crash, wiped out nest eggs and are ushering in a recession?! This is beyond incompetence. It’s criminal!

Brings back memories of Brexit. First of all we had promises that there would be amazing deals and lower prices on day one. Then, it was 'short term pain for long term gain.' Finally, with opinion having turned against it, it became 'it wasn't done properly' America, that's coming next.

Another Trump tariff lie and a telling one: no tariffs on Russia and Belarus because the US has “no significant trade with them”. In fact America’s trade balance with Russia is $3.5bn, more than other countries. Tariffs on Belarus should actually be 42% and 24% on Russia, according to Le Monde.
