So I've learned what I needed to from my first mini-project - a GBA-style mp3 player! I've put dev on hiatus to switch to some projects with more specific benefits, but the core is there, and it's all open under MIT + Public Domain licenses. codeberg.org/johnoestmann... #opensource #audio #godot

Just want to promote libro.fm, which is kinda like Audible, except all the audiobooks are DRM free, so you can actually keep and listen to the files without the app, without continuing the subscription. A lot better for listeners, a lot better for the authors.

It is genuinely sad to see supposedly "impartial" sources publishing articles about how "Deepseek / CCP steals all your data" but fail to mention that it is one of the only SOTA models you can actually run securely, locally, privately, because it is open-source.
