After interacting with deepseek more I'm convinced that one of the criticisms I heard, that they tuned their AI to the tests well, seems right. I can't do nearly as much w/ it as Chat GPT. I mean leading it down rabbit holes of conversation/roleplay, etc. Deepseek devolves into nonsense quickly.
